Ashfiellid couneil consider
four drainage works
' Ashfield Township Council
met on April 17, 1979 with al]
members present.
E. H. Uderstadt was pres-
ent and reports were consid-
ered on four new drainage
•works and three reports for
repair and improvement on
existing drains. The Logten-
burg #2, Thoma, Adams, and
Hunter Drain, reports were
adopted and the provisional
by-laws were given first and
second readings.
The engineer was instruct-
ed to make a further report
on the outlet of the Hunter
Drain on W1/2 lot 11, conces-
sion 12, E.D.. The Logten-
burg "A" drab, Warren
• Zinn "8" drain and Ander-
son drab repair and im-
p'rovement reports were ad-
opted and the provisional
by-laws were given two
readings..

granted to A. Stinnessen for
a house on William Street,
Port Albert.
An application for sever-
ance was approved for James
Hayden on part of lot 1,
concession 3 W.D.
Reeve and Clerk were
•authorized to sign an agree-
ment for developing a sub-

The tender of Robert Far-
rish, R. R. 3 Goderich, for
collecting garbage from cot-
tages was accepted at a price
of $2200.00. The tender of
Corrugated Pipe Co., Strat-
ford of $3128.85 for supply-
ing, a pipe for side road 3 and
4, concession 4 E.D. was
accepted.
Road accounts of $7,532.63
and general accounts df
$13,874.59 were approved
for payment.
