ing for several days with Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Ritchie.
Also visiting at the same
home , during the Easter
weekend were Sue's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey McKay
and sisters Cathy and Barb-
ara. of Thornhill. Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Ritchie and Brett
are moving to Mayerthorpe,
Alberta on April 27th.

for Mrs. Carol Becker (nee
Shackleton) on Wednesday,
April 18 in Dashwood.
Helen Thompson, Luck -
now has returned home after
convalescing at the home of
her. niece, Mrs. Don Biles in
Elmira, following surgery in
St, Mary's hospital Kitchen-
• er; the previous week.
Annie Kilpatrick has re-
turned from Ottawa where
she visited for five weeks
with her, daughter and son-
in-law, r. and Mrs-. Basil
Halhed, Michael and Diane.
Mrs. Kilpatrick also spent a
week in London with her
daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. William Mead -
en, Mikelle and Meredith.

Mrs. Charlie McDonald
entertained some 3Q guests
at her home Saturday, April
14th at a shower for Lorna
(Reid) Clipperton prior to her
forthcoming marriage to Ger-
ald Hudson of London.
Contests were conducted,
after which Brenda Clipper-
ton and the groom's daught-
er, Valarie; assisted Lorna in
the opening of the gifts. She
received a flowered porcelain
on steel set of cookware and
a pantry shower.
Lorna thanked• all for their
thoughtfulness, and the
gifts. A lovely lunch was
served • and a social time
enjoyed.

Stuart Thom Collyer is a
son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart
Collyer of Lucknow. Thom
attended Lucknow Public and
High School and upon com-
pletion was with the Toronto
Dominion Bank for a time
before accepting the position
at Orangeville. He is married
to the former Sandra Weiser
of Mount Forest. They have
two children, Scott 11, and
Karen, 8.
Attending the ' ceremony
were his parents, his broth-
er, Ted and Sandra ' Collyer,
Chris and Lisa, all of Luck -
now, and Mrs. Marie Weiser
of Mount Forest.
A luncheon and social hour
followed the ceremony.
