the season sponsored by the
Holyrood Women's Institute
was held. on Thursday even-
ing with 6 tables in play. The
high lady was Mrs. Cliff
Johnston; the high gent was

Mrs. Charlie Murray; lucky
gent, Earl Harris.

Mrs. Alex Percy who is a
patient in the Wingham. and
District Hospital. We wish
her improved health.

with a congregational pot
luck supper.
Mrs. Jack Barr presided
for the program.
The offering was received
by Mrs. Don Bushell and
Mrs. Ken McDonald and
dedicated by Mrs. Jack Barr.
Glen Haldenby Jr. took up
the offering for the group's
adopted girl, Maria.
Mrs. Glen Haldenby Ores
ided for the Easter program.
Scripture was read by Mrs.
Frank Maulden. Meditation
and,prayer followed, by Mrs:
Haldenby. A musical number
was presented by Mr. and
Mrs. Bruce Bushell, Mrs.
Jack Barr and Don Robert-
son.
Mrs. Don Robertson intro-
duced the speaker, Mrs.
Wm. Munshaw who is educ-
ational, consultant for several
presbyteries in southwestern
Ontario. She gave a resume
of her . work, and an Easter
message. She also had a
story for the children.
Mrs. Tom McDonald ex-
pressed thanks on behalf of
the W.M.S. to Mrs. Mun-
shaw. Prayer by Rev.
Thompson .closed the meet-
ing.
