Langsideyout on work term BY LILLIAN YOUNG • For some of the grade 12 students at F. E. Madill this week is work week when some students go to different places to work for the week as a school project. • Marty Young was one of three students who • went to work for Guelph University for the week. We are pleased , to report that Graham Moffat of Tees - water who is a patient in Victoria Hospital, London is feeling better after having surgery last Tuesday. Congratulations to. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones on the birth of a daughter, Sonia Dorothy, weighing 10 lb. 9 oz., in Wingham Hospital on Wednesday,. April 18, a sister for Chris, and a grand- daughter for Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wynne. •Kim• Coughlin spent Satur- day with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Young and returned home with her parents on Satuday evening. A pot luck dinner was held in the Presbyterian Church basement, Whitechurch after the service on Sunday to give the congregation a chance to meet Rev. and Mrs. John Bell. " Rev. Bell will be minister 'at the church after their student minister, Harv- ey Osborne, his wife and daughters leave at the end of May. The Young People held their regular meeting Sunday evening at the manse. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Martin, Glenda, Zana, Tonya and Rachel of London visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Martin, John and Dan on the weekend and also called on his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Young and family on Sunday. Mrs. Don Martin had been a patient in Wing - ham Hospital.
