The Afternoon Auxiliary of
the Lucknow Presbyterian
W.M.S. held their March
meeting at the home of Mrs.
Noble Johnston on March 4.
Mrs. Austin Loree presid-
ed for the meeting and
opened with a verse and •
prayer, Mrs. Noble Johnston
gave the meditation, the
theme being "Gratitude".
The delegate to the Hamil-
ton and London Synodical, to
be held in Goderich in April
will b e. Mrs. Morgan Hender-
son.
A splendid book . display
was on view. The Glad Tid-
ings review was ably given
by Mrs. P. Stewart.
Continuing with the study
of China, Mrs. Morgan Hen-
derson outlined the commun-
ist regime under' Mao Tse-
tung. .'
Rev. Munshaw closed the
meeting with sprayer. A social

ently celebrated their golden
wedding. Mrs. Fellows, the.
former Mary Anne Ensign,
grew upin this area, having.
lived on the farm now owned
by Mr. David Elphick on the
corner of 86 highway and the
Ripley road. She is the
daughter of the late Eli En-
sign and a sister of the late
Alice May (Mrs, Herb En-
sign) and Win. John Ensign.
The Ensign families were
early settlers in the area.
