The girls discussed , the
care and selection of their
hats. The leaders showed the
girls how to make a rain or
shine hat, a jeans cap, a hat
with a brim and a toque ' or --
stocking cap. They also
showed the girls how to
straighten their material and
how to ,cut it out.
Holyrood.

Holyrood 4-H club was held
on February 16 at the home
of Mrs. Barbara Gingrich.
The minutes of the previ-
ous - meeting were read. by
Lori Gingrich and accepted
after a few minor corrections.

discussed the selection, care,
lengths and • construction of
gloves. Mrs. Stanley demon-
strated various ways of tie-
dying..Members were given
fabric to try some tie -dying of
their own.
St. Helens
The third meeting of the
St. Helens 4-H club was held
in the St. Helen's hall, on
February 24.
Mrs. Brenda Naylor read
from the members' pamph-
let. She then .demonstrated
different ways to tie scarves
on each member.
Mrs. Luba Weber demon-
strated how to sew the rain
hat and also french seams.
