ic" said Irvin, "It's better to have something

Lucknow last summer, got its backbone from
the Society said Irvin. "The Market ,has one
way to go and that's grow," he added.

- Zinn told the meeting that he was pleased
that Lucknow Fair is growing because he is
sorry to, see so many fairs fall by, the
wayside. "People like to come home to the
fair," he said.
'Johnston remarked that the Lucknow Fair
always had good weather and for several
years he couldn't make it to the fair, .because
he was helping Harvey Houston fill his silo.
"Harvey always planned to fill his silo on fall
fair day because the weather wassure to be
good, " 'laughed Johnston.
Aitchison, who shows. horses at many
fairs in the fall, said that Lu cknow has one of
the best fairs in. Western' Ontario. "Lucknow
is one " of the top fairs," he said and
congratulated the Society for their efforts.
•'Murray • conttnented that his trucking
business is agriculture oriented and "thiere%
nobody like a farmer .towork with, so with
that going for you,, you can't help but have :.a' I',
good fair."'
