The Government of Ontario introduces...
Health
Insurance
Registration
Board
If you have either Ontario Medical Services
Insurance Plan (OMSI P) or Ontario Hospital
Insurance (OHI) you will soon be hearing of
the Health Insurance Registration Board
(HIRB).
The Health Insurance Registration Board
has been set up by the Province to act as an
agency for both OMSI P and Ontario Hospital
Insurance.
HI R B will be the central registration office
which will handle enrollment, billings and
premium collections, and answer inquiries
about Ontario's medical or hospital insur-
ance plans.
OMSIP and Ontario Hospital Insurance
will continue to provide their present cov,
erage, The only difference is that, from
now on, when you see HIRB, you'll know it
means the Health Insurance Registration
Board is serving you on behalf of Ontario's
health insurance plans.

West Wawanosh
Council meeting
Murray Johnston's grader
was hired for the winter snow
plowing at the regular session
of West Wawanosh Council for
December. All members were
present for the meeting,
John Hildebrand was appoint-
ed as the township's representa-
tive to the Goderich District
Collegiate Institute for a two-
year term.
It was also agreed to pur-
chase a chain saw for use in
roadside work during the winter.
The road and general accounts
were passed.

tit and Mrs. Ken Bennett were
in charge of the Willing Work-
ers' Christmas meeting. Mrs.
Louttit read a poem, " A Star",
the Christmas story and offered
prayer. Mrs. G. Gibson read
a story, "The Last Shawl".
Mrs. Bennett gave two readings,
"What Is Christmas" and "
"Christmas Cards".
Christmas hymns and carols
were sung.
Mrs. William T. McLean,
leader, conducted the business.
Ten members answered roll
call with a Bible verse. A
special collection was taken
for the needy. A note was
read from Mrs. John Snell, who
has been in hospital.

for the nominating committee

celebrated
WHITECHURCH-- A large
crowd of invited relatives and
friends of Mr. and Mrs. Don
Martin celebrated their 26th
wedding anniversary with them
in the community hall on Tues-
day evening.
Dancing to the music of
Tiffin's orchestra was enjoyed
and during the lunch period Mr.
and Mrs. Martin thanked their
friends for the many gifts they
received.

Messengers
WHITECHURCH-- Calvin-
Brick Messengers held the Dec-
ember meeting on Sunday with
Jim Robertson presiding. The
pianist was Marian McGee.
The theme of the meeting
was "Let Us Keep Christmas",
and to show this a candle-light-
ing service was held, with each
leader lighting a candle,
The first reader was Iyinda
McGee and Marilyn Robertson
read a poem. The second
reader was Jane Shiell, a carol
was sung and Shirley Pattison
read Scripture. The third
reader was Margaret Robertson
and another carol was sung.
Alice Beecroft was the fourth
reader and Lorna Mason led in
prayer.
The offering was received by
Lori Thompson and Patsy Shiell
and it was dedicated by Jim
Beecroft.
The Christmas story was
given by Mrs. Lawerence Tayloi
and Joyce Taylor read a Christ-
mas poem, All then went to
classes for study.
