The study was conducted by Mrs,,Gordon Wright and Mrs. Jack Inglis, Christmas carols were sung. The theme of the study was "His Natm is Wonder fur Bach person had taken a small gift. These were placed on a table and as each mem- ber's name was called she step- ped forward and chose a gift. The business followed when the convener of each commit- tee gave a report. A newcomer from Scotland, Mrs. Jim Rae, was presented with a pantry shower for which she thanked the group. Lunch was then served. Bruce Peglar of- ficiated. Attending the couple were Mrs. Russell Cudney of Fergus, daughter of the groom, and Alex Gillen of Harriston, son- in-law of the bride. The bride wore a three piece centennial rust suit, mink stole, brown accessories and corsage of bronze mums. The matron of honor chose a beige dress, beige and brown accessories and deep rose cor- sage. When illness or unemploy- ment strikes, a family often can't afford even small Christ- mas gifts. But the Salvation Army can see to it that there are warm clothes and toys for the children and a holiday din- ner.
