The Wingham Advance-Times, 1967-09-14, Page 18oivp tOp QUALM SCHNEIDERS FRESH SLICED OXYDOL 6 lamb shoulder chops, 5 medium-sized tomatoes, about %-inch thick peeled and quartered 1 tsp, salt 1 medium-sized onion, 1/4 tsp. pepper thinly sliced V4 tsp, ground ginger 1 sweet green pepper, V4 tsp. garlic salt cut in strips 1 can (15-oz.) baby green lima beans, drained Trim excess fat from chops; brown in lightly-greased pan; drain fat, Sprinkle seasonings over chops; add to- matoes and onion. Cover tightly and simmer 30 minutes or until chops are tender. Turn chops once about halfway through cooking time. About 10 mins. before end of cook- ing add green pepper and beans. Makes 6 servings. BIXEVALE-,A happy event took place in the community hall on Friday evening when Mr. and Mrs, Raymond Elliott were honored by relatives and friends to mark their 50th wed- ding anniversary. Raymond, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Elliott of East Wawanosh Township, and Mary Elizabeth, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Messer, of Bluevale, were mar- ried on September 17th, 1917, at the home of the bride, by Rev, Crawford Tate, of Knox Presbyterian Church, Bluevale. They farmed in Turnberry before their retirement to Blue- vale five years ago. An address in verse, written by Mrs. George Hetherington, was read by Mrs. Keith Mof- IAA and A gossip table and a pole lamp were presented to Mr. and Mrs. Elliott by J. J.
