A CHURCH SERVICE is always a time when friends meet
for a friendly chat before proceedings get underway and
the community service at Bluevale was no exception.

evening. Mr. and Mrs. Roger

Things in the Church" and
"Faith". The choir sang two
anthems in the morning, "How
Lovely Are Thy Dwellings" and
"Holy Art Thou". The male

Cross". At the evening service

If you have seen a new top-
ping on Belmore streets these
days, it may be the area farm-
ers -- laid out, suffering from
exhaustion! The weatherman
was a sweet guy last week, but
it shore kept the farmers hop-
ping at the harvest, without ev-
en time to talk. Quite a num-
ber finished their annual task
and are sure due for a rest. Oth-
ers are still working but should
be ready to stash the machinery
by this week-end. Maybe you
are one of these who hear that
- farmers are going west and
heading for Expo, and you say
"It must be a cinch to be a free
and easy, money-making farm-
er." Well, you say that around
these parts and be prepared to
pick your teeth out of the dirt.
