SAUSAGE & NOODLE CASSEROLE
1/2 lb, pork sausages 1/3 cup finely-chopped
6 oz. medium noodles onion
2 tbsps. butter or marg. 1/3 cup finely-chopped
1 chicken bouillon cube green pepper
1% cups boiling water 1/3 cup fine dry bread
1 (10-oz.) can cream of or cracker crumbs
chicken soup
Arrange sausages in greased baking pan, bake in
350 preheated oven until lightly browned. Drain.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water as directed on
the package. Drain. Gently fold in the butter or
margarine. Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water.
Add to soup and blend well.
Arrange half the cooked noodles in a buttered
2-et. casserole. Sprinkle with half the chopped onion
and green pepper; pour on half the soup, mixture.
Add remaining noodles, then the rest of the in-
gredients. Sprinkle with crumbs. Arrange partially
cooked sausages on top of mixture. Bake at 350
about 20 mins, or until sausages are browned and
mixture is bubbly. Serves 4.
