OPP offer safe
cycling rules
Officers of the Wingham De-
tachment have. observed quite a
few bicyclists on the roadways
and offer a few hints for their
safe operation.
1, Keep your bicycle under
control.
2, Ride on the right side of
the road. Move with the traf-
fic and stay close to the curb.
3. Riding after dark is dan-
gerous. Wear something white
or reflective.
The Ontario Provincial Po-
lice urge parents to give close
attention to the cycling habits
of their children and to correct
and instruct them while they
are at an impressionable age. It
could save a life.
