onion
2 tbsps. water
3 tbsps. butter or marg.
1 tsp. ground sage
11/2 tsps. caraway seed
tsp. ground blk. pepper
lb. head cabbage,
shredded
% lb. slivered cooked ham
1 tsp. salt
Combine onion with water and allow to stand 10 min.
to soften. Melt butter or margarine in a large heavy
skillet. Add sage, caraway, ground black pepper and
onion and saute 2 minutes. Stir in cabbage, Covet and
cook 10 to 15 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring once.
Toss in liana and salt and Cook until ham is hot. Serve
immediately. Yield: 6 servings.
