This area was one of many
that received a rather severe
electrical storm on Friday eve-
ning of last week. Though no
serious darri:age was reported,
lightning did strike a few places,
causing minor damage, and
knocking out hydro and tele-
phone service for awhile. Un-
fortunately, it didn't cool the
air much; Belmore tongues were
hanging just as low on Saturday
and Sunday.
A number from this area
viewed, and enjoyed, the Con-

its visit to Wingham on Satur-
