Walker underwent surgery in
Wingham and PiStriot Hospital.
His many friends wish him a
very speedy recovery.
Mr, Donald Watt, student
minister at Knox College, Tor ,
onto, is studying at home this
week prior to the spring exams.
Mr, Harold Dawson wastak-
en to Kitchener Hospital last
week for observation, His par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs, Philip Haw ,
son are holidaying in Mexico.
Guests on Saturday evening
with Mr. and Mrs, Gershom
Johnston of Wingham were Mr,
and Mrs. Clarence Ritchie,,
Brenda, Stephen, Donald and
Mary Ann of 2nd Con. Kinloss,
Mr. and Mrs, Stewart Smith
and Diane of Kitchener, Grand-
daughters Mary Ann Ritchie and
Diane Smith and their grand-
mother, Mrs. Johnston, were
all celebrating their birthdays
on this occasion.

ion were suggested, Mrs. An-
drew Gaunt will give the clos-
ing prayer at the Presbyterial in
Wingham.

1/4 gal. vanilla ice cream
4 egg whites
Dash cream of tartar
1 tsp, vanilla
lh cup sugar
Sauce: Press raspberries through sieve into small sauce,
pan. Stir in gugar and cream of tartar. Heat quickly,
stirring constantly, 3 minutes. Pour into bowl and chill.
Filling; A day before serving scoop ice cream in big
flat spoonfuls and place petal fashion in bottom of baked
stele drizzle with raspberry sauce. Repeat layers and
sauce, mounding on top, Freeze overnight.
Meringue: Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and vanilla
till double In volume; sprinkle in sugar, 1 tbsp. at. a time
beating constantly till sugar dissolves and meringue stands
in peaks. Spread, over ice cream, swirling into peaks
(Work quickly). Return to freezer. Just before serving
