"THE CHURCH IN THE WILDWOOD" was
sung by William S. Pitts, M.D., for the
first time in The Little Brown Church in
the Vale at Nashua, Iowa, in 1864. The
congregation was organized in 1855 and
the church built 1860-1864. Thousands
visit this American shrine annually and
many wedding ceremonies are conducted
in the church. Recent visitors were Mrs.
Fred Dustow, her sisters, Mrs. Grace Dus-
tow, of Gorrie, and Mrs. C, A. Neill, of
Woodstock, and the latter's son and wife,
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neill, of Woodstock.
They visited many places of interest in
the United States.
