JUNIORS
It's anyone's guess who will
end up on top in this league; --
after two weeks only 17 pins
separate the top three teams
and only 83 pins separate the
top five teams. Looks like a
few pins could mean the differ-
ence between winning the play-
offs and ending in second spot,
so let's remember to make
every pin count.
Dave Balser came through
with a high single of 207 and
high double 399. High single
for the gals was Rhonda Bell
158 and high double, Gail Ir-
vine 289.
Some of the better lines
rolled: Steven Langridge 173,
Lloyd Eridenburg 168, Bill
Brown 167 and 160, Lee Grove
(with special coaching from
Mrs. B.) 166 and 185, Bruce
Henry 161 and 169, Steven Wat-
son 162.
Here's the standing after two
weeks, Rangers 2407, Wings
2401, Leafs 2390, Hawks 2364,
Bruins 2324, Habs 2015 -- real
close eh!
BANTAMS
The Greens sure have their
sights on winning the playoffs
-- although short their top
bowler, each bowler seemed to
give a little extra effort as the
results showed, and they came
up with top total to increase
their lead at the top of the
group. Leading the Greens at-
tack were Bradley Simmons
with games of 139 and 139, Jay
MacLaurin 118 and Brian Gor-
don 132 and 102, (Seems some-
one's dad had a game under
that 132, one Monday night re-
cently, eh Ross!)
High single for the day went
to Bradley Coulter with a 143
single -- nice game Bradley.
High single and double for the
girls was Julie Foxton with 123
single, 211 double. Next in
line for girls high single, Mar-
lene Foxton 95 and Vicki Fri-
denburg 90. Let's see you
break that 100 mark next time
Vicki.
Standing after two weeks,
Greens 1549, Reds 1248, Whites
1205, Blues 1147.

Remember no bowling Eas-
ter week-end. Playoffs resum-
ing April 16th and ending April
23rd, so keep that bowling arm
and eye in shape. Hope the
Easter Bunny is good to the
whole gang -- you, too, Ruth!
came through with some good
games and are in first place
with 3100 points, The Rough
Riders are right behind with
3067 with our Season's Champs
breathing down their necks with
3034. The Argonauts are in
fourth place with 2945; Bomb-
ers have 2652 and trailing them
are the Alouettes with 2588.
At this point, I wouldn't take
any bets. It was only a year or
so ago that the playoff champs
weren't decided until the very
last frame. So -- anything can
happen from here on in.
For those of you who wish to
make plans well in advance,
our annual banquet will be held
at the Legion on April 26, and
it is called for 6:30 p.m. Let
us make a special effort to be
on time this year.

with a 281 for the high single
on Monday night, and Matt
Boyd had the high triple of 692.
The Mercury: are still hold-
ing the lead with 130, followed
by the Jumpin' Jupiter: with
127; Moon Doggies 105; Explor-
ers 96; Appollos 79 and the
Gem inis 72.
