THURSDAY NIGHT
MIXED LEAGUE
The Thursday Night bowlers
held their annual turkey roll
last week. Winning turkeys for
high scores were Mac Ritchie
with an 800 triple and Barry Fry
with a 344 single. For the la-
dies it was Fran Edwards with a
653 triple and 252 single.
Those winning turkeys for hid-
den scores were Garth Walden,
Paul Rintoul, Shirley Walker,
Gail Holmes, Joan Irwin and
carried into camp or not in use.
6. Make sure barrel and ac-
tion are clear of obstructions.
7. Unattended guns should
be unloaded, ammunition stor-
ed separately beyond the reach
of children or careless adults.
8. Never climb a fence or
jump a ditch with a loaded gun.
9. Never shoot at flat or
hard objects or the surface of
water. No one can control the
direction of a ricochet. When
sighting in, be sure your back-
stop is adequate.
10. Avoid alcoholic drinks
before or during the hunt -- al-
cohol dulls vision, disturbs aim,
impairs judgment.
