son. Standings to date are as
follows; Ladies' high single,
Shirley Storey, 346; ladies high
triple, Shirley Storey, 816; la-
dies high average, Shirley
Storey, 202; men's high single,

average, Jim Bain again with
• 225. Team standings, Stam-
peders 83; Rough Riders 53; Ar-
gonauts 53; Ti -Cats 40; Blue
Bombers 39; Alouettes 33. Now,
you all know what you have to
work against in the New Year.
• We enjoyed our annual
Christmas party this week. Five
• games of euchre were played
with Peg Pepper winning the
high score for the ladies and
Don Cameron the high for men.
Vicki Wild and John "Potwash"
had the low scores. Then, the
real fun began. Each team was
responsible for entertainment
(?) and this proved a highly
successful idea. Eric "Moun-
tain Dew" Walden laughed so
hard, I thought he would fall
off his chair. Agnes Cameron
laughed until the tears rolled
• down her cheeks. I didn't real-
ize we had so much talent in
our League. We had every-
thing from a take -off on the
Beatles to an extremely funny
marriage counseling skit by the
Ti -Cats, and to those of you
• who missed the entertainment,
you missed the prize act of the
evening by "Ringo" Lott.
Louise Swanson made a love-
ly corsage for each team cap-
tain and as well, she and Presi-
dent Morris provided individual
.1' prizes for the card games. A
very special thanks to them
from all of us for a very differ-
ent and enjoyable prelude to
