Secrets from the
BIue Barn Kitchen
By Kay Grose
Listowel
Another week has passed very
quickly. If anyone gets bored
in a hospital I'll never know
why, as there is always some-
thing going on. The Sisters
check regularly, and the nurses
are popping in from time to
time checking up, puffing pil-
lows and the usual routine that
goes on in every hospital.
Everyone took the blackout
quite calmly. Did you ever
hear of a patient having a flash-
light among her belongings? --
Well, that was me. It was like
a light sent from heaven until
the auxiliary came on, --so let
it be a reminder to always have
a flashlight, in good working
order, with you at home and in
your car,
Your cards and thoughts are
very much appreciated and a
lift every day.
Here are some recipes I
hope you will like and next
week we will start on Christmas
cakes and goodies for the fes-
tive season.
