Thos. W. Girling
Dies in London
Following a long illness,
Thomas W. Girling of James
Street in Wingham, died in Vic-
toria Hospital, London, on Fri-
day.
He was born in Amabel
Township, Bruce County in
1902, a son of the late Cyrus
Girling and Lillian Soloman.
He had resided in Wingham ov-
er 40 years. He was employed
at MacLean's Sawmill, later
Ratz Sawmill and the Wingham
Sawmill.
Mr. Girling never married.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs.
William (Catherine) Bond of
London.
Capt. A. Ferris conducted
funeral service at the R. A.
Currie & Sons funeral home on
Monday, and interment in
Wingham Cemetery. The pall-
bearers were Harold Dennis,
Les McDouglall, James Seli,
Keith Johnston, Jack Cleghorn
and Arthur Stone.
