Ross Smith was appointed
commissioner to look after re-
pairs to the King drain when
Morris Township Council met in
regular session last week.
Huron Ploughmen's Associ-
ation was voted a grant of $25
and Belgrave, Bluevale and Wal-
ton libraries each received a
grant of $15.
Nomination day was set for
November 26 and election day,
if necessary, on December 4.
Tenders accepted were Glenn
Snell and Mel Jermyn at $7.50
per hour and $5.00 per day
standby time for the months of
December to March inclusive,
and George Radford Construc-
tion Ltd. at $8.50 per hour for
ploughing snow in Morris for the
winter of 1965-66.
It was moved that the road
superintendent and treasurer sub-
tnit the necessary petition for
the interitn road subsidy.
The Stone School bridge will
be sold by public auction on
October 16. There were no ap-
peals at the court of revision.
