who left Tuesday, for Barrie -
field where he has joined the
Corp of Royal Canadian Elec-
trical and Mechanical Engineers
as a soldier apprentice. Bob

MOTHER -DAUGHTER ACT --Mrs, Abe Pen-
ner, .of Teeswater, and her two daughters,
Dianne and Carol, put on a fine exhibition
of skiing on Monday. Their costumes were
made by the girls' great grandmother, Mrs.
Mary Mighton, who was on hand to enjoy
the big day. The family has only been
skiing for the past year.

held Tuesday evening in the
Whitechurch Community Me-
morial Hall when Mr. Lev. Bal-
ser of Wingham will show slides
of the Maritime Provinces,
Holyrood and Belgrave W. I,
will be guests at this meeting.
