Yuill Reunion Held Sunday Wl-iITECHURCH--The Yuill reunion was held Sunday after- noon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McBurney' The boys went to the field and had a game of soft ball. Mrs, Pea- cock, Mrs. Dick Procter and Jerry Ginn looked after the sports, consisting of games and several contests. Receiving the prize for the oldest lady present was Miss Margaret Yuill of Carleton Place. The oldest gentleman was John Yuill of Goderich. The couple coming the farthest was Mr. and Mrs. Rae Petrie of Herki- mer, N.Y. The president, Dawson Craig presided for the business. The minutes were read by the sec- retary, Mrs. Dawson Craig. Next year's officers are Jerry Ginn, president; Mrs. Jerry Ginn, secretary and the reunion will be held at their home in Goderich Twp. To complete the happy get-together a picnic lunch was served. GARDEN CLUB WROXETER--The 4-H group met at the home of their leade>y Mrs. Wm, Wright on July 20th with a good attendance. They discussed canning tomatoes and plans for Achievement Day. Miss Ann Gibson, president, was in the chair, St. Helens Mr. and Mrs. Ross Errington and family visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stroe- der, at Chesley Lake. Mr. Wm. Webster returned on Wednesday from a trip through Western Canada. Jimmie and Gregory Laid- law of Wingham, spent the week -end with their grandpar- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Todd, while their parents attended a wedding at Galt on Saturday. There will be no church ser- vices at St. Helens Church on August 1st and August 8th.
