Dickert Family Holds Reunion LAKELET-One hundred and fifty-six attended the Dickert reunion at the Moorefield Park on Sunday afternoon. The executive is as follows: President, John Stieh of Bridge- port; vice pres., Jack Bennett of Kitchener; secretary, Mrs. John Heinbecker, Hanover; treasurer, Elmer Kaufman, Clif- ford. Oldest lady present was Mrs. C. Weppler of Neustadt and the oldest gentleman, C. Weppler, Neustadt. The youngest guest was Rachelle Fischer of Guelph. Sunday Service At United Church WROXETER-The junior and intermediate choirs of the United Church sang the anthem "Brother James' Air" in har- mony, unaccompanied and led by the organist, Mrs. A.E. Martin on Sunday. The children's story told by Rev. Fred Taylor concerned a boy who had never been to church and attended for the first time while visiting his uncle. He enjoyed the service, the people, and most of all the plate which was passed from which he got 850. The uncle later adjusted the error and the boy learned about stewardship and sharing of ta- lents and love. The Sermon was based on "Rejoice in the Lord always." The moroseness of Christians is a poor advertisement for Christianity. Mr. Taylor said we are here to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. An uneasy conscience through sin does not bring joy. We must repent and be forgiven to enjoy fel- lowship with God. MEMBERS OF THE B PACK, Wingham Wolf Cubs, held their fin& meeting before the summer recess at the Scout House on Thursday evening, with several of the parents on hand for the ceremonies. Leaders of the Pack are Hugh Sinnamon, Cubmaster, and his assistant, Mrs. Barbara Taylor. • BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY • - PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AGENT - Major Oil Company will set up wholesale facilities to service burning oils and farm trade in Wingham area.
