The presi- dent, Mrs. Victor Emerson open- ed the meeting with a verse, "Seed Time" and a hymn was sung. The leader, Mrs. Frank Coulter read Scripture and gave the meditation, assuring mem- bers they are all "God's seed • and he knoweth of what each has need." It was by a tree that the Lord symbolized His promised in- dwelling in the souls of His people --"I am the vine, ye are the branches." The last chapter in the Holy Word pic- tures the Tree of Life with its fruits in the heavenly world and its leaves for the healing of na- tions. Mrs. Emerson led in prayer for the sick of the community and gave the offertcry prayer. Mrs. Donald Watt led in prayer for rain. It was announced that the July meeting will be held in the church with the Children of the Church providing the program.
