Mrs. Lindenschmidtr visited with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Weber, and Mrs.Mclnnes with Mr.and Mrs.James McInnes and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Tiffin. Mr.John McInnes of Blue - vale was busy last week clean- ing oil furnaces serviced by Esso. We are happy to report Mr. Dave Gibb was released on Thursday from Wingham and District Hospital and at the end of the week resumed his duties with the Teeswater Creamery. On Tuesday Mr. Don Hill also received his discharge from the Wingham and District Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Murray, Phyllis, Kathleen, Alex and Patricia of Sharon spent the week -end with Mr.and Mrs. Charles Tiffin and on Saturday evening attended a shower for Miss Linda Johnston, bride-to- be at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnston. Mrs. Dunlop and Mr. Cecil Fischer of Doon were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Morrison. We are sorry to report Mr. George Kennedy is a patient in St.Joseph's Hospital, London. We wish him a speedy recovery. Mrs. Allan McCharles and Brian of Arkona were Sunday visitors with her mother, Mrs. Donald MacDonald and Mr. and Mrs. H. D. MacDonald. Mr. Alex Coffin and Mr. Richard Coffin of Kitchener were Sunday visitors with their mother, Mrs. Emma Coffin and John. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scott of Ripley were Sunday callers with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Caslick. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Conley of Wingham spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Conn. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Savage accompanied Mrs.James Rich- ardson to London on Sunday to visit with Mr.James Richard- son, at Victoria Hospital. Calvin -Brick U. C. W. are invited to Westfield June 16 and to St. Helens June 17. This will necessitate a change of date for their own regularrneet- ing, which will he announced later.
