We are pleased to report Mr. Garnet Farrier returned home from Wingham & District Hospi- tal on Friday. Mr. Allan Falconer of Streets ville spent the Easter week with his grandmother, Mrs. Cassie Falconer. On the week -end Mr. and Mrs. Angus Falconer and Kevin arrived and Allan returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hender- son endenson and Brian of Toronto were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Tiffin and Mrs. Myrtle Dawson. Those attending the W. M. S. Thankoffering services at Dungannon Church on Friday from Whitechurch were Mrs. Earl Caslick, Mrs. Donald Mac- Donald, Mrs. Frank Coulter, Mrs. Andrew Gaunt, Mrs. John- ston Conn and Mrs. Victor Em- erson. Mrs. Andrew Gaunt sang a solo, accompanied by Mrs. Johnston Conn on the piano. Mrs. W. R. Farrier and Winni- fred of Toronto visited Wednes- day and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Farrier. Visitors during Easter week with Mr, and Mrs, George Fisher were her mother, Mrs. Margar- et Carruthers released from Wingham and District Hospital and Mrs, Duncan Simpson of Kintail, During the week -end Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lougheed, Lori and Cheryl of Fort Erie, Mr, and Mrs, Bill Fisher of Don Mills, Mrs. Gordon Fisher, Lon- nie and Lori of Guelph and Mr, and Mrs, Bill Gibson, Rhonda, Billie and Gregory, were guests, On Tuesday of last week, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson were in Walkerton where Mrs. Emerson attended the Bruce County Scholarship meeting in the Department of Agriculture board room to choose a winner from the applicants, On Thursday the White- church Safety Sisters held a work meeting at the home of their leader, Mrs. Leroy Rin - tout. Mr. and Mrs. Johnston Conn visited Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gaunt of WWawanosh. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Smith of Markham spent Easter week with Mr. and Mrs. Russel Chap- man. Mr. Smith is a brother to Mrs. Chapman. Mrs. Ronald Jamieson and Mrs. Tom Jamieson spent Fri- day in Kitchener. Gregory and Billie Gibson of Lucknow visited Easter week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher while their mother, Mrs. Gibson visit- ed with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Loughead of Fort Erie. ATTEND DINNER AT SUDBURY WROXETER-Misses Evelyn and Elva Hupfer of Wingham were in Sudbury a few days last week where the latter was guest of honor at the C. G. I. T. anniversary and banquet. Miss Hupfer was the founder of the C. G. I.T. in Sudbury while teaching there. She was a guest at the head table and cut the large cake for the banquet, which was at- tended by 225. Complete Study Book at U.C.W. WROXETER- Mrs. Harvey McMichael and Mrs, George Gibson convened the Willing Workers' meeting last Tuesday. Mrs. Gibson read "Where Seek Ye the Christ?" and Mrs. Mc- Michael was pianist and read the Easter story from Scripture. Eleven members and one visitor answered the roll call with an item for the bazaar. Mrs. Rae Louttit, leader,chair- ed the business. Mrs. William McLean reported on the third annual meeting of the U.C. W. hold at Seaforth in March. Mrs. John Fraser and Mrs. Louttit will be in charge of the May meeting. The Gorrie U. C. W. extend- ed an invita,tion to meet with them April 28 and arr g - y6 merits wen!! made for the Wrox- eter U. C. W. to conduct the worship service in June. Mrs. Gibson completed the study book on Brazil and quilt- ing and a pot luck supper fol- lowed the meeting. Little Cheryl Mason, who spent last week here, returned to her home with them and Miss Edith Wheeler remained for a longer visit.
