WROXETER-Misses Evelyn
and Elva Hupfer of Wingham
were in Sudbury a few days
last week where the latter was
guest of honor at the C. G. I. T.
anniversary and banquet. Miss
Hupfer was the founder of the
C. G. I.T. in Sudbury while
teaching there.
She was a guest at the head
table and cut the large cake
for the banquet, which was at-
tended by 225.

Workers' meeting last Tuesday.
Mrs. Gibson read "Where Seek
Ye the Christ?" and Mrs. Mc-
Michael was pianist and read
the Easter story from Scripture.
Eleven members and one
visitor answered the roll call
with an item for the bazaar.
Mrs. Rae Louttit, leader,chair-
ed the business. Mrs. William
McLean reported on the third
annual meeting of the U.C. W.
hold at Seaforth in March. Mrs.
John Fraser and Mrs. Louttit
will be in charge of the May
meeting.
The Gorrie U. C. W. extend-
ed an invita,tion to meet with
