Special Services Held
In the Belmore Churches
BELMORE- Special after -Eas-
ter services were held in both
Belmore churches on Sunday.
At the Presbyterian Church.
Rev. Lockhart Royal of Goder-
ich Presbyterian Church was
guest speaker, as pan of a pul-
pit exchange program arranged
by Presbytery. His text was
Mark 16:1-15, "Go --and
preach the gospel". He spoke
about what the resurrection can
mean for us, and urged us to
share the 'good news' with oth-
ers.
The senior choir sang, "0
Lamb of God, I Come". A
quartet comprised of Ross Mc-
Kague, Bill Jeffray, Tom Ing-
Iis and Bruce Darling sang,
"The Riches of Love". Rev. T.
E. Kennedy, pastor of the Bel -
more charge, was guest speaker
at Sea forth Presbyterian Church.
Communion services were
held in the United Church for
the congregations of McIntosh
and Belmore, Rev. 1), L. Steven
chose as his text Isaiah, chapter
53 and a portion of chapter 55.
He asked that members of his
congregation come before the
communion table in a bond of
Christian unity and love for
their brothers, The choir sang
a special anthem.

record hop hosted by members
of the Pine River -Bethel Hi -C
and held in Pine River on Mon-
day evening of last week.

en for spot dances, elimination
dances, limbo, twist, and novel.
