EDUCATIONAL. PROCESS
Mother of a young daughter
reports this addition to the table
of weights and measures: 1
basket equals 273 chestnuts. All
are underfoot.
"The Paradise of Many Races"
was shown. It was on Trinidad.
Pictures showed the fruits
grown, sugar cane fields and
methods of harvesting. Roads
are modern and made of as-
phalt, which is one of the ex-
ports along with oil. The lar
gest sugar refinery in the Com-
monwealth is in Trinidad.
The homes are built on
stilts as a precaution against
parasites. All go to market as
a social occasion, to buy, talk,
rest or watch. Many beautiful
schools provide education, for
half the population is under 15
years of age. The Presbyterian
schools have Bible Women who
help lead others to Christianity.
Together they aspire and a-
chieve much in church work.
