Funeral service was held on
Saturday afternoon at the D.A.
Rann funeral home in Brussels
for Mrs. Leland Procter of Fort
Erie. Rev. Morrison of Brussels
Presbyterian Church conducted
the service and interment in
Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.
The pallbearers were six
nephews, Charles and Hugh
Campbell, Lawrence and Alvin
Jones, James Coulter, Frank
Workman and Jerry Barrett.
Floral tributes were carried by
David and William Workman. A
memorial service had been held
at the funeral home in Port Col-
borne prior to removal of the
body to Brussels, by the mem-
bers of the Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Procter, formerly of
Father Dies
In Hanover
Clarence Henry RosseIl, 65,
of Carlsruhe, died Sunday in
Hanover Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Stanley Horsburgh, R. R. 2,
Wingham is a daughter.
Mr. Rossell is also survived
by a son, Russell Rossell of
Carlsruhe and a sister, Mrs.
Valentine Russwurm of Hanover.
Funeral service was held
yesterday (Wednesday) at St.
Matthew's Lutheran Church,
Hanover, with temporary en-
tombment in Hanover Ceme-
tery chapel.
Mrs. Geo. Cottle
Dies in Detroit
WHITECHURCH-Word was
received here of the sudden
passing of Mrs. Belle Cottle of
Detroit on December 26, in her
89th year.
She was born on Con.6, Kin-
loss, and was Belle Taylor, dau-
ghter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
James Taylor. Tier parents
lived on the farm now owned by
Wesley Young, in the Langside
vicinity.
Her husband, George Cottle,
predeceased her. She leaves a
son, Frank of Detroit, and a
daughter, Evelyn of New York.
Funeral services and crema-
tion were in Detroit on Monday.
Wesley and Orville Tiffin of
Whitechurch and George Tiffin
of Lucknow are nephews.

because they arc ignored.
Brussels and Wingham, had
lived in Fort Erie for about five
years. She died on Wednesday
of last week in Douglas Mem-
orial Hospital. She was 60
years of age.
The former Margaret Camp-
bell, daughter of the late Arch-
ibald Campbell and Margaret
Hamilton, was born in Morris
Township and attended Stone
School. While living in Wing -
ham she had worked for Mr. and
Mrs. Harley Crawford and at
Gibson's Bakery and was a mem-
ber of St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church.
She was married to Leland
Procter of Brussels 25 years ago.
When they left this district they
moved to Port Colborne where
they lived for a long period be-
fore moving to Fort Erie, They
operated a laundromat.
Mrs. Procter is survived by
her husband; a brother, Oliver
Campbell of Morris; and sisters,
Mrs. George (May) Coulter of
Wingham, Mrs. William (Bes -
sie) McCutcheon and Mrs. Harry
(Belle) Workman of Morris and
Mrs. Morgan (Jessie) Jones of
Clinton.
