New Study Book
BLtIEVALE-The Explorers
held their first meeting of 1965
in Knox Presbyterian Church on
Sunday, which was well attend
ed.
New officers appointed were:
President, Gerald Snell; secre-
tary, Keith Elston; treasurer,
Neil Campbell.'
The offering was taken by
Neil Campbell and dedicated
by Mrs. Wrn. Elston. Mrs. Ross
Gray introduced the new study
book, "Ten Open Doors." The
story of life in a crowded city
showed how young people tried
to help those in a tenement
district to better their living
conditions.
The young people went from
door to door to tell the parents
about the fresh air project.
Some of the people were quick
to accept, others were distrust-
ful. A mother and daughter
were found hiding from crooks.
The crooks were caught by po-
lice through the efforts of the
young people.
