GORRIE- The tuberculosis
clinic was held in Gorrie Com-
munity Hall on Monday with
685 persons attending. This
is part of the Huron County sur-
vey which comes once in every
four years.

GORRIE--The Gorrie United
Church was decorated with bas-
kets of white gladioli, white
and yellow mums and candela-
bra and ferns when Sandra Anne
Edgar, Gorrie, and Ronald Ed-
ward Collyer, Kitchener, ex-
changed marriage vows on Sat-
urday afternoon, Rev. Fred W.
Taylor officiated for the double
ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Edgar, of
Gorrie and the groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Collyer
of Lucknow.
Miss Carol Robinson wasor-
ganist and accompanied the
junior church choir.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. She chose
a white floor -length gown of
peau do soie, featuring around
neckline and fitted bodice with
bell shaped skirt extending into
a chapel train with a flower ap-
plique at the waist, Her shoul-
der illusion veil was held in
place by a satin pillbox. She
carried a bouquet of yellow
sweetheart roses and baby mums.
Itilss Delores Merriam, Oak-
ville, was matron of honor,
wearing a gold shantung floor -
length gown featuring a round
neckline with fitted sleeveless
bodice. She wore over -the -el-
bow white gloves. The skirt
of her gown was A line design
with a shall bow at the waist.
Her headdress was a matching
pillbox. Her bouquet was of
yellow nouns and yellow roses.
The bridesmaids were Miss
Joan Brant, Guelph and Miss
Rosemary Rothwell of Norwood,
wile wore gowns similar to the
matron of honor,
'Etre flower girl was Diane
Edgar, Borrie, who also wore
a gold shantung floor -length
gown with round neckline and
full short sleeves, full skirt and
inatchilig pillbox. She carried
a nosegay of yellow rrnnns and
roses.

brother of the groom, was best
man and the ushers were Bud
•Gavey or Toronto and Ned Mar-
tin, Long Beach, Cal.
The reception was held in
the church hall with over 90
guests attending. The bride's
mother received wearing a daf-
fodil linen sheath with beige
accessories. The groom' s
mother assisted wearing a mint
green sheath with stroller coat
and beige accessories.
The bride chose a white
sheath with white lace over
dress for the wedding trip to the
Maritimes provinces.
The couple will reside at 250
Patricia Street, Kitchener.
The bride is a graduate of
Guelph General hospital School
of Nursing. Prior to her marri-
age she was honored at a mis-
cellaneous shower at the home
of Mrs. Wilford King. Co -
hostesses were Mrs. Robert Ed-
gar and Mrs. Alex Edgar.
