School Party
BELGRAVE-The Junior
room held a concert on the last
day of school. The opening
recition was by La Scott, then
all the pupils joined in the
opening choruses.
A recitation was given by
Glen Nixon, followed by a
topsy-turvy by Grade 1 pupils.
A recitation by Michael Walsh
and a play, "The Big Ditch
Digger," presented by Grade III
pupils.
A drill was presented by
Grades III and IV girls. The
Nativity Story was enacted. A
recitation was given by Johnny
Scott, "Christmas Bells." Songs
were sung by the girls and
Stephen Fear, "Santa's Mis-
take" was recited by Gail
Rezansoff and the program
closed with a play, "The
Princess and the Swineherd."
Santa arrived and distributed
gifts and candies to all the
children and teachers.

Christmas Concert Follows
Trinity's Pot -Luck Supper
BELGRAVE-The members
of Trinity Anglican Church
held their annual Christmas pot-
luck supper in the Foresters'
Hall on December 23. After
the supper the members of the
Sunday School, under the direc-
tion of Mary Isobel Nethery and
Linda Johnston, presented their
concert.
All members sang "0 Christ-
mas Tree" and "Deck the Hall
Recitations were given by Joyce
Nethery and Marjorie Procter.
A trio, Frank, Sandra, and
Marjorie Procter, sang "God
Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" . A
duet was sung by Gary and Di-
anne VanCamp, followed by
recitations by Maxine Procter
and Brenda Nethery.
A play, "Mouse to the Res-
cue", was presented by Nancy
and Keith VanCamp, and Larry,
Connie and Joyce Nethery.
Brenda VanCamp favoured with
a solo " When Christ Was Born
in Bethlehem in a Lowly Man -
Vesper Service
Held at Knox
BELGRAVE--The Christmas
vesper service for the Canadian
Girls in Training was held on
Sunday evening at Knox United
Church. Organist for the ser-
vice was Joyce Procter, who
played a prelude of carols.
The processional hymn was
"Q Come All Ye Faithful". Call
to worship was given by Donna
Grasby followed by prayer.
"Joy to the World" was sung.
The Scripture was read by Aud-
rey Coultes. The choir sang
"Gentle Mary Laid Her Child"
and Scripture was read by Dor-
een Pattison, followed by pray-
er and the singing of "As With
Gladness Men of Old".
The offering was received by
the leaders, Mrs. Arthur Jack-
son and Mrs. Cliff Logan. The
choir sang "0 Holy Night".
The story of the childhood of
Mary was read by Mrs. William
Coultes. "0 Little Town of
Bethlehem" was sung.
The first candlelighter was
Nancy VanCamp, the second,
Joan Bosman, and the third was
Rhonda Fear. Following unison
prayer the hymn, "Hark! the
Herald Angels Sing" was sung
and Rev. Arthur Jackson pro-
nounced the benediction.
The church was beautifully
decorated with candles in each
window and candelabra and
small, lighted Christmas trees
at the front of the church.

are world wide in distribution

one -twentieth of an inch to al-
most three inches in length,
with the majority being about
one-third of an inch long.

Nativity Scene was presented
with Frank Procter reading the
Christmas story and other mem-
bers singing "It Came Upon a
Midnight Clear", "Away in a
Manger", "First Noel", and
"Silent Night". Linda Johnston
and Mary Isobel sang a hobo
number, "Side by Side", which
concluded the program and
Santa arrived and distributed
gifts and candy.
