However, the chief use of veratrine is for killing vermin. Joqfo ijjeIIIorht Highway Highball No matter how good a dri. ver you are, there are times when you can't drive -- when you're sleepy; when you're an- gry or upset; and certainly af- ter you've had that few drinks too many that can maim or kill you! This is the theme of "High- way High -way Highball" , a new traffic safety film on the subject -of the drinking -driver problem, In 12 minutes of hard-hitting common sense which tugs at the family heart strings, it tells the story of Tom who loses his legs in an accident following a night "on the town". Tom will eventually be able to drive again — with artificial legs. And when he does, he'll have a better reminder than most of us, Copies for adult viewing may be obtained from the Highway Safety Branch, Onta- rio Department of Transport, Parliament Buildings, Toronto 2, Ontario, TAKEN FROM LIFE Sir John Falstaff, a comic character who appears in three of Shakespeare's plays, was based on Sir John Oldcastle, However, Oldcastle, who was a Lollard martyr, had descen- dants still living when Shakes- peare wrote, so the Bard chang ed his character's name.
