WMS Contributes 5241 for Missons
BELMORE-The president,
Mrs, E, Jeffray, presided at the
annual meeting of the Belmore
Auxiliary of the Women's Mis-
sionary Society held in the
church schoolroom on Thursday
afternoon.
After singing "That Man
Hath Perfect Blessedness", the
minutes of the last meeting
were read and approved and Mrs.
D. MacAdam was appointed to
have the In Memoriam certifi-
cate for Mrs. Lovetta Kennedy
suitably framed.
Mrs, Ken Dickson reported
that $241,00 had been contri-
buted to missions. Mrs. Glen
Appleby commended eight Mis-
sion Band members for perfect
attendance. Mrs. E. Ballagh
donated and sent cards to the
sick and shut-ins and made
telephone calls and visits, Four
in Remembrance cards were
:rsed, Mrs. Curie received 25
subscriptions to the Glad Tid'
ings. Mrs. Carl Nickel sen;4
total of 222 pounds of used rrixb
azines, eards and stamps toTor-
onto, Alberta, India, Formosa
and Nigeria. Mrs, Jas. Struth-
ers stated that though the bale
was smaller this year, a larg,�
sum of money was sent to the
supply fund. Mrs. John Dick, -
son recorded expenses totalling
$72,00.

with a Bible verse containing
the word "love". Psalm 91 was
read. Mrs. A. Mundell present.
