Mr. and Mrs. William Wil- son and Mr. Norman Wilson spent two days last week at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Miss Jean Siefert of Listowel spent the week -end here. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wil- liamson and Barbara of London spent the week -end with the former's mother. Miss Brenda Williamson, who has visited for two weeks with her grand- mother, returned home. Mrs. Emma Williamson returned to London and will visit for a week, Mr. Everitt Cooper of RCAF Station Clinton spent the week- end with his parents, Mrs. Ida Verschoor of Del- roy Beach, Florida, is visiting with Mrs, Ruby Forester. Mr. and Mrs. Anson Demer- ling spent one day last week in Toronto with Mr, and Mrs. Ralph Langstaffe, Mr. Wm. McKee of Neepa- wa, 'Manitoba, visited last weel week at the home of Miss Leti- tia and Louise Matthews. Mrs, Nina Armstrong is spending two weeks at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Mc- Dowell in Galt, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Haight ilage of Fordwich of Unity, Sask, , spent a few days last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lloyd, The L. O, B, A, Lodge 131 of Fordwich shipped a bale of waren winter clothing to Scott Mission in Toronto last week, Messrs. William and Anson Demerling enjoyed a three daye trip through Northern Ontario. Week -end and Sunday visit- ors at the home of Mr. and Mrs, Bruce Armstrong were Mr, and Mrs. Victor O'Brecht and Shar- on, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Foster, Misses Marjorie and Jean Foster; all of Toronto, and Mrs. Ruby Foster of Fordwich. Miss Glenna Hibberd of Kit- chener spent the week -end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.Robt. Hibberd. WMS Contributes 5241 for Missons BELMORE-The president, Mrs, E, Jeffray, presided at the annual meeting of the Belmore Auxiliary of the Women's Mis- sionary Society held in the church schoolroom on Thursday afternoon. After singing "That Man Hath Perfect Blessedness", the minutes of the last meeting were read and approved and Mrs. D. MacAdam was appointed to have the In Memoriam certifi- cate for Mrs. Lovetta Kennedy suitably framed. Mrs, Ken Dickson reported that $241,00 had been contri- buted to missions. Mrs. Glen Appleby commended eight Mis- sion Band members for perfect attendance. Mrs. E. Ballagh donated and sent cards to the sick and shut-ins and made telephone calls and visits, Four in Remembrance cards were :rsed, Mrs. Curie received 25 subscriptions to the Glad Tid' ings.
