DAIRY RESEARCH
CHAIRS ENDOWED
Ontario milk producers and proces-
sors are supporting dairy research at the
University of Guelph through two re-
search chairs within the Ontario Agri-
cultural College.
Funding of $1.25 million for each
chair is being provided by the Ontario
Milk Marketing Board (OMMB) and by
members of the Ontario dairy process-
ing industry, represented by the Ontario
Dairy Council (ODC).
"Research into new products, new
uses for milk, new technology, and the
supplying of highly trained people will
be the results of this investment," says
ODC chair Armin Quickert.0
