Super -Hay, a bacterial inoculant for dry baling, inhibits mold, reduces heat- ing, conserves protein, and is non -corro- sive. It makes it possible to bale hay that is up to 25 per cent wetter than normal, and to bale longer in the day (Agricul- ture Canada registration #980475). Super-Sile bacterial inoculant for high-quality silage production acceler- ates and increases the production of lactic acid, which in turn lowers pH rapidly from 6.5 to 4.0 (Agriculture Canada registration #980371).0 GEHL INTRODUCES MIXER -FEEDER LINE The Gehl Company has introduced a new line of mixer -feeders ranging in size from 210 to 500 cubic feet. The design includes four notched augers which quickly blend feed, in- cluding square alfalfa bales, in a figure- eight pattern. Standard weigh bars or optional load cells allow the precise weighing of all ingredients. Gehl has also introduced a 190 -cu- bic -foot feeder wagon ideal for opera- tions that require no mixing or blending. It features a two -auger delivery system and a chain and slat discharge conveyor.
