Larry Plaetzer
is a business managementgradu-
ate (1977) from Centralia Col-
lege of Agricultural Technol-
ogy. He worked for seven years
at a corn -sweetener plant before
he started full-time farming with
his wife, Linda, who is a teacher.
Larry is an executive director for
the Huron County Federation of
Agriculture and assistant chair-
man of the Membership Com-
mittee.
Larry: "Not everyone is going to
be satisfied with what the federa-
tion does, but the benefits are for
everyone. Don't quit the organi-
zation over one single issue. Be
involved in something bigger
than yourself and of lasting
value."
