INPUT ON MANAGING WASTE INVITED The Huron County Waste Manage- ment Plan is now being prepared. Designed to provide a long-term waste management strategy for Huron County, it should be completed by August of 1990 at a cost of $227,328. A master plan is necessary under the requirements of the Ontario Environ- mental Assessment Act to acquire new or expanded waste facilities. The situ- ation is becoming critical in Huron County because many of the garbage dumps have a projected life expectancy of fewer than 15 years. Public meetings will be scheduled periodically to inform the community of the plan's progress, says waste manage- ment co-ordinator Jo -Anne Richter. Anyone who would like more informa- tion or would like to meet to discuss issues relating to waste management is asked to contact Jo -Anne Richter at 519- 524-2188.0 KASCO Protective Helmets for Chemical & Dust Protections 410.- ."..„00310 Bob & Marilyn yrenck SPRATEK ENTERPRISES R R 2, Mitchell, Ont.
