SPECIAL
PRIDE OF PROGRESS
—10,000 EXPECTED
AT PORK CONGRESS
Organizers of the Ontario Pork
Congress in Stratford expect more than
10,000 visitors from June 21 to 23.
The crowd will be coming to see
more than 200 exhibits of pork products
and services, to learn about innovations
in the industry, and to hear speakers
discuss the latest in technology.
In addition, displays of some of the
finest purebred animals in Ontario will
be judged and evaluated. Feeder pigs,
market hogs, and carcasses will be
judged and discussed according to their
contribution to meat counters around
the world.
This year's congress theme is
"Proud of our Progress," and pork pro-
ducers can certainly be proud as they
walk through the three -acre site of ex-
hibits, education programs, competi-
tions, awards, and social gatherings.
The Ontario Pork Congress has
developed a world-wide reputation for
identifying leadership in pork produc-
tion. Visitors have come from around
the world to consult with the Canadian
hosts, and American guests have been a
mainstay.0
