"The MR rating for DK -125 — the highest rating for any Dekalb alfalfa variety — makes it a good choice for anyone concerned about verticillium wilt on his farm," says Dekalb agrono- mist Michel Remillard. DK -125 has good yields, flowers two or three days later than Saranac, and is moderately resistant to phytophthora root rot, fusarium wilt, and aphids. It is highly resistant to bacterial wilt.
