The figures, released with the board's Annual Report at its 22nd annual meeting in Toronto in Janu- ary, represents an increase of 0.7 per cent over the previous year. Processors were billed $1.123 bil- lion for the milk. The board retained $49 million for milk haulage, $4.9 million for the administration of the marketing system, and $15.5 million for market expansion efforts. In addition, on behalf of the fed- eral govemment the board collected $55.6 million in levies from produc- ers to cover the costs of exporting surplus products, and $700,000 was collected for the Ontario Dairy Herd Improvement Coporation.
