Ed Schleimer: Self Portraits— high-
lights a new series of works of the pro-
lific Kitchener artist Ed Schleimer who
works in a bold, expressive style, often
using family, friends or self-portraits.
The exhibition features several large
format wood art prints -self-portraits.

Meditations on Banality: David
Hlynsky, Nov. 1 -Dec. 15 features
photographic still-life and animate
objects rendered as still life. The pho-
tographed objects themselves have lit-
tle monetary value and a tacky grace
but each has the ability to engage fas-
cination. The exhibit is from the Cana-
dian Museum of Contemporary
Photography.
Leda Watson— Nov. 1 to Dec. 15 fea-
tures an exhibition of 30 etchings by
artist Leda Watson depicting the land-
scape of Central Brazil through her
mastery of engraving techniques.

pettheatre's two irresistibly funny pup-
pet clowns perform a series of circus
acts, including plate -spinning, walking
