Sandra Hunt of Seaforth, middle, relinquished her crown, and Jane Anderson of Lon- desboro (right) was runner-up. The event, which attracted seven contest- ants, was organized by Marie McGavin of Walton. In Bruce County, Teresa Schuler of R. R. 4, Kincardine is the new Queen of the Furrow. In Grey County, there are five new queens, one for each plowing associa- tion: Marie Krauter of R. R. 2, Elmwood (Bentinck), Mary -Lou McCutcheon of R. R. 8, Owen Sound (North Grey), Evelyn Thomas of R. R. 1, Holstein (Egremont), Joan Hershey of R. R. 4, Mouth Forest (Normanby), and Gage Baker of R. R. 5, Flesherton (Centre Grey). The Perth County Queen of the Furrow will be chosen October 15. Nancy Johnston of R. R. 4, Listowel now holds the title.
