nations for rural leadership awards
given to those who have provided out-
standing leadership in their rural com-
munities in the past year or two.
21 — Rainy River Cattlemen's Asso-
ciation 28th Annual Feeder Sale at Strat-
ton, Ontario. 1,500 head (75 per cent
yearlings, 25 per cent calves) will be
offered. Banking and trucking services
are available at the yard. A second sale
on October 19 will feature 2,000 head
(90 per cent calves, 10 per cent year-
lings. Both sales will be carried by
satellite to Kitchener. For more infor-

dren, the queen of the fair contest, and
amateur talent. Saturday see live racing
pigs, parade, auction, cooking demon-
strations, and more. Saturday night is a
dance with music by Bustin' Loose.
Sunday is the auto show, appaloosa
horses and goat show, and pork BBQ.0
