PERTH OMAF
Brian Miller, a Huron County
farmer, is now working out of the Perth
office of the Ontario Ministry of
Agriculture and Food while Dael
Bierworth fills in for agricultural repre-
sentative Glen Thompson in Waterloo
County. Thompson is co-ordinating the
Ontario Farm Management, Safety, and
Repair Program.
Miller formerly worked full-time
with OMAF in Middlesex County and
completed a temporary assignment in
Huron County a year ago.0

SPEECH CONTEST
AT ROYAL FA I R
Rural young people are invited to
enter the Royal Winter Fair's third pro-
vincial public speaking competition.
To be held November 19, the com-
petition is open to those between 17 and
24. Contestants give a five to seven
minute speech on an issue pertaining to
Ontario's agriculture and food industry.
