The Farm Accident
John Johnson Jr. (age 3) got a letter in the mail. He found out Jimmy his cousin (age 3 1/2) was coming to his
farm. John Sr., John Jr.'s father, was combining in his Massey Ferguson 290 hp combine. John Jr. and Jimmy
were playing near the combine. All of a sudden there were screams of pain! Jimmy was under the combine!
John Jr.'s mom called the ambulance. Jimmy needed 310 stitches and a cast. "Luckily he's okay," said Mrs.
Johnson. "Well, now you know not to play near the equipment." Adam P. Hauck, 9, Holy Family School
