ANNUAL 4-H SHOW
The annual 4-H Invitational
Livestock Showmanship Competition
will be held Saturday, March 28 at
Ridgetown College from 9 a.m. to 5
p.m.
The show includes a 4-H quiz cov-
ering general knowledge, nutrition, and
animal health followed by the live-
stock showmanship competition. All
livestock (dairy, beef, sheep, and
swine) will be provided by the college
and fitted by the students. This will
be a team competition (four members).

ALLEN HEADS CENTRALIA
IN COLLEGE'S 20TH YEAR
"I look forward to my new appoint-
ment at Centralia College," says Bill
Allen, 37, who takes over the
position of principal May 1. "It is an
excellent college with a first-class
reputation." A university of Guelph
graduate, Allen has a Master of
Science degree in crop science.
For the past two years he has been
principal of New Liskeard College
of Agricultural Technology. Allen
takes over from Doug Jamieson,
who was appointed education pro-
grams general manager for the
Ministry of Agriculture.
